5 Days Uganda Gorilla tracking from Kigali
Enjoy 5 Days of Uganda gorilla experience, arriving and departing via Rwanda. You will tour Kigali where you will visit the genocide memorial and cultural centers.
Day 1 Kigali Airport
On arrival at Kigali Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transfer to your hotel in Kigali. Check into your hotel and relax. After,head out for a Kigali City tour where you'll visit the genocide memorial, Richard Kandt House, and local markets for tasting local fruits.
After, head back to your hotel.

Day 2 Bwindi Impenetrable NP
After breakfast, checkout of your hotel and begin your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda. You will pass by Karisoke Research Center to have a look at interactive gorilla conservation.
Upon arrival at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, check into Nshongi Camp. Spend the rest of the evening at Nshongi Camp.
Dinner and Overnight at Nshongi Camp – Full Board.
Day 3 Gorilla Tracking
Wake up early and have your breakfast. Your guide will drive you to the offices of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for the 7am briefing on gorilla tracking. This briefing is done by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers and it gives you information about gorilla tracking, rules and regulations. After the briefing, head into the forest with your ranger and begin gorilla tracking. Your guide will stay at the park offices waiting for you.
Bwindi is a beautiful rainforest. It's home to Mountain gorillas, other primates, birds, and other nature. Enjoy these as well as you track the gorillas.
Encountering the gorillas
Upon finding the gorillas, you will spend one special hour viewing them. You will use this opportunity to take as many photos as you wish.
Gorillas are gentle giants. You will be amazed at how gentle and human-like they are.
After tracking, you will trek back to the park offices where you will meet your guide, and also be given a certificate for tracking gorillas. The certificate-award ceremony is an exciting moment with fellow trackers. After this, your guide will drive you back to Nshongi Camp to freshen up and have lunch. Spend the rest of the day relaxing at Nshongi Camp.

Day 4 Batwa Experience
After breakfast, visit the Batwa community – a pygmy community that once inhabited the Bwindi forest but were relocated to its fringes to pave way for gorilla conservation. Being hunter gatherers, the Batwa will demonstrate hunting techniques, fire making, honey gathering, bamboo cup making, and identification of medicinal plants.
You will be treated to amazing batwa entertainment as they perform their traditional songs and dance.
After, head back to Nshongi Camp where you will spend the rest of the evening.
Dinner and Overnight at Nshongi Camp – Full Board.
Day 5 Bwindi NP - Kigali Airport
This is the last day of your safari.
After an early breakfast, checkout of Nshongi Camp and begin your journey to Kigali Airport.
If your flight is later in the day: Upon arrival at Kigali, check into your hotel and wait for your flight back home.
If your flight is immediate: Board your flight back home.
