7 Days Uganda Experience

Day 1 Entebbe Airport

On arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transfer to your hotel in Entebbe. Check into your hotel and relax.

After resting, you can opt-in for a beach experience or spend the rest of the day at your hotel.

If your safari starts in Kampala on this day, you will do a Kampala City tour where you will the Uganda museum, National theatre, religious sites, cultural centres, and downtown Kampala.

Day 2 Entebbe – Murchison Falls NP

After breakfast, checkout of your hotel and drive to Murchison Falls National Park.

You will make a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to view rhinos in the wild.  Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is the best place to see rhinos in the wild in Uganda. It is the breeding site for the black and white rhino in Uganda after rhinos got extinct in Uganda in the 1980s.

After, continue your drive to Murchison Falls National Park, where you will arrive in time for lunch. Check into your lodge, have lunch and relax.

Spend the rest of the day at your lodge relaxing, with an evening bonfire.

Day 3 Murchison Falls NP

After breakfast, head out for a morning game drive. This morning game drive increases your chances of finding lions, hyenas and leopards as they come back from night-hunting or as they do a morning hunt. You will also see a number of animals like elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, giraffes, hartebeests, among others; and birds. You will also visit the hippo pool for close encounters with hippos.

After the game drive, head back to your lodge for lunch.

In the evening, head out for an evening game drive for more wildlife encounters.

After the game drive, head back to your lodge and spend the rest of the evening relaxing at the lodge.

Day 4 Murchison Falls NP

After breakfast, go for a community walk to visit the local communities around park where you will have local lunch.

After, drive back into Murchison Falls National Park for an afternoon boat cruise on River Nile to the bottom of Murchison Falls. You will sail past the towering edge of Nyamusika cliff, and view water loving wildlife like hippos, crocodiles, and birds. You may also see elephants and waterbucks at the river bank.

Upon arriving at a safe distance, you dock and enjoy amazing views of the bottom of Murchison Falls. After, disembark from the boat and hike to the top of Murchison Falls where your guide will be waiting for you. At the top of the falls, you will enjoy great views of the top of Murchison Falls.

After, drive back to your lodge.

Day 5 Murchison Falls NP - Kibale NP

After an early breakfast, begin your journey to Kibale National Park. You can either travel by domestic flight or by road. If you are travelling by flight, you may take your time to wake up because the flight leaves at 1pm.

If travelling by domestic flight

Your guide will drive you to the airfield and board your flight to Kasese Airfield where another guide will be waiting for you to drive you to Fort Portal City. This flight takes 1hr. You will enjoy wonderful aerial views of Uganda.

If travelling by road

This is a 6hr adventurous journey cutting through multiple towns and communities where you will have a chance for close encounters with local people. Make stopovers to buy fruits, visit a local home, and eat at a local restaurant if you like.

Upon arrival at Fort Portal, check into your lodge. Spend the rest of the day relaxing at your lodge in this Tourism City of Uganda.

Day 6 Kibale NP

Wake up early and have your breakfast. Your guide will drive you to the offices of Kibale National Park for the 7am briefing on chimpanzee tracking where you will be given rules and regulations.

After the briefing, you will head into Kibale Forest on foot with your ranger, to begin tracking chimpanzees.

Tracking takes at least 3hrs. You will spend 1hour with the chimpanzees. So use this opportunity to take as many photos as you wish.

After tracking, head back to your lodge. Spend the rest of the day at your lodge.

Day 7 Kibale NP – Entebbe Airport

This is the last day of your safari. Depending on the time of your flight back home, you can take your time to wake up.

After breakfast, you can opt-in for a complimentary massage at the lodge to relax your body as you prepare for your journey back home.

If travelling by domestic flight

Your guide will drive you to the airfield. Say goodbye to your guide and board your flight to Entebbe Airport. The flight takes 2hrs.

If your flight is later: Upon arrival at Entebbe, check into your hotel and relax as you wait for your flight back home.

If your flight is immediate: Head to the airport and board your flight back home.
